Tom Lovell

Tom is currently the CEO/General Manager of CLtel. He also serves as General Counsel and Vice President of the Board of Directors.

Tom began working for CLtel in 1989 and has been General Manager since 1999. Prior to that, he worked as a lawyer and partner at the Stillman Law Firm in Clear Lake. Currently, he serves on the ICA’s TelePac Committee and Legislative Committee. Tom previously served on the ITA Board of Directors, Industry Relations and Nominating Committees and chaired the Industry Relations and Legislative Committees. He also served on the OPASTCO Wireless Committee.

Tom has served on other numerous local and state boards. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Midwest Wireless Corporation for seven years and served as President of the Legal Services Corporation of Iowa Board of Directors. Tom has served on the Clear Lake Economic Development Corporation for over 25 years, including two terms as President. He also served on the Board of Directors of the North Iowa Economic Development Corridor, the regional economic development organization serving Cerro Gordo County. He has served as President of the Clear Lake Community School Board and as a director. He is a member of Lions Club and past President. He is active in his church serving on various boards and is currently President of his church council and Moderator his church.

Tom and his wife, Jan, live in Clear Lake just down the street from their son, daughter-in-law and three beautiful grandchildren. Tom enjoys golf, music, hiking and working on the family’s prairie and woodland area.
